Dubai Metro Underground Stations Mechanical and Fire Suppression Systems Project
Project Summary
As part of the Dubai Metro construction, the mechanical infrastructure systems of the underground metro stations have been implemented by us. Throughout the project, MHI (Mechanical Handling Interface) rooms located in the metro stations and the cooling, ventilation, and FM200 gas fire suppression systems of the general station areas have been designed and applied.
Considering the high passenger density, security requirements, and operational continuity needs of the underground stations; the air conditioning and ventilation systems have been designed to provide effective air circulation. The FM200 fire suppression systems applied for critical technical volumes have been commissioned in compliance with international standards, based on rapid intervention and equipment safety. All systems were successfully completed between 2007 and 2008.
