The project for a drinking water treatment plant with a daily capacity of 100,000 m³ planned in the city of Babil, Iraq, has been developed to meet the safe and sustainable drinking water needs of the increasing population. The project includes raw water intake structures, pre-treatment systems, coagulation and flocculation units, settling basins, rapid sand filters, disinfection systems, clean water reservoirs, and pumping stations, all designed integratively.
